Willamette Valley's Best Sports Physical Therapy & Chiropractics
At Performx we're changing the narrative. We are athletes that understand the importance of staying strong and healthy and the frustrations of struggling to keep up.
After working for years in traditional Physical Therapy practices, dictated by insurance companies, we decided enough is enough.
We guarantee that if we can't help you, we won't charge you and will help you find someone that can.
We know how scarce and valuable your time is and will help you reach your goals faster and more efficiently.
Our mission is to help you feel strong, confident and able to keep up with life.
Let's chat today to make sure you don't miss out on your life, give up the activities you enjoy the most or accept that getting old means slowing down.
"I wish I had contacted Performx so much earlier! Thank you so much for keeping me training whilst helping me recover."
"Working with Performx has been the best I have received from a physical therapist, and I have worked with quite a few over the years."
"Peformx is the best physio I have come across. Their ability in diagnosing my injuries and offering solutions was second to none."
Dalton founded Performx to help athletes better understand their movement, injuries, and body, in order to keep them doing what they love. Dalton has expertise in movement, strength & conditioning and exercise science and believes that education and understanding injury/the body combined with exercise-based rehab is the key to effective rehab.
Having opened a clinic in London and launched a successful virtual physical therapy business, he's excited to be back supporting his local community in the Willamette Valley.
Outside of the clinic Dalton loves rolling on the mats, flying leisure airplanes and exploring the local area with Sydney, their 2 kiddos and pup.
Maya is passionate about helping people stay active, adventurous, and injury-free—whether they’re training for their next race or just navigating everyday life.
She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2014 after completing a BA in Exercise Science at Willamette University, where she competed in cross country and track. Since then, she’s worked with a wide range of patients at PT Northwest in both Northeast and West Salem. Maya is Astym certified and board-certified in orthopedics (OCS), with a special interest in treating runners and endurance athletes.
Outside the clinic, Maya still runs regularly—currently focusing on 5Ks and 10Ks—and sneaks in trail runs when she can. She stays busy keeping up with her two kids and enjoys baking, cooking, reading, swimming, and working in her garden.
Dr. Emily Kreifels graduated in 2019 from the University of Western States in Portland, OR, with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters of Sports Medicine. She is a Pacific Northwest native, originally from Washington, but moved to Oregon in 2011 to get her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and run cross country and track at Linfield College.
A heavy background in sports and various athletics has given Dr. Kreifels a passion for helping athletes of all stages, whether they are just starting their health and fitness journey, or they have been active for years. Dr. Kreifels has a wide range of treatment types and believes that quality education for patients is important to help them return faster to the activities they love doing.
When not in the office, Dr. Kreifels is probably out training for the next running race or triathlon, or enjoying all that the Willamette Valley and Oregon have to offer.
Tom believes that long-term performance and resilience start with understanding how the whole body works together.
Tom started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2012 and earned his black belt in 2024. He continues to train and teach regularly and has a deep passion for working with grapplers and combat athletes.
Tom holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and has been practicing since 2018. He’s worked extensively with both everyday athletes and high-level competitors, always with the same goal: helping people move with confidence and purpose.
At home, Tom is a proud dad to three young boys and two rescue dogs. When he’s not in the clinic or on the mats, you’ll find him fixing up guitars, exploring outdoors with his family, or homeschooling alongside his wife.
Sydney manages all things behind the scenes at Performx, aiming to keep everything running smoothly. She has helped alongside Dalton across the variety of clinics they have operated around the world.
She graduated with a BS from Southern Oregon University before moving to Scotland and running the marketing operations for BrewDog's bars across the globe. As an active athlete and ex-collegiate soccer player, health, wellness, and fitness have always been a cornerstone priority.
When not working, Sydney loves to travel, snowboard and find new local haunts with Dalton, their 2 kiddos and pup, Ipa.
Vicky is the welcoming face of Performx and the glue that keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. With a deep love for organization, service, and lifelong learning, she brings decades of experience in administrative support, community service, and entrepreneurship to the team.
After earning her degree from Western Oregon University in 1983, Vicky spent 35 years working in the juvenile justice system in Marion County. Since retiring, she’s launched several of her own businesses.
A CrossFit coach and athlete since 2018 and a certified nutrition coach since 2022, Vicky is passionate about movement, health, and the intentional pursuit of wellness. She’s completed the Portland Marathon, co-managed the Baseball competition for the World Master Games, and competed in multiple CrossFit Open events over the years.
Outside of work, Vicky loves baking, cooking, reading, photography, gardening, and spending time with her seven grandchildren. She’s happiest moving her body, trying new things, and soaking up sunshine on a tropical beach.
