Questions? We've Got Answers.
I've never done yoga before. Is this class right for me?
Absolutely. Both classes are designed for all levels. Shirley teaches with modifications and progressions so everyone can participate at their own level. The small class size means you'll get personal attention.
I'm not flexible. Will I be able to keep up?
Yoga builds flexibility, it doesn't require it. You'll be meeting your body where it is today, not forcing it into shapes it can't make. That's the whole point.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, comfortable clothes you can move in and a mat. We have props available (and often a spare mat if you forget yours / haven't gotten one yet!)
How do I book a class?
Click HERE to view the schedule and reserve your spot, or call/text us at 541-327-4797. Classes are capped at 10 people, so booking ahead ensures your place.
Is there anything I need to fill out before my first class?
Just a quick intake consent form. You can complete it when you book online or when you arrive.
What's the difference between the Wednesday and Saturday classes?
Wednesday's Hatha + Restore is slower and more restorative, focused on calming the nervous system. Great for winding down after work. Saturday's Slow Vinyasa has more movement and is designed to energize your weekend without exhausting you. Both are accessible to all levels.
Where are you located?
We're located at 296 S Main St in Independence, Oregon, (the historic Taylor's Drug) building on the corner. Street parking is usually easy to find. If Saturday morning is busy (farmers market season), try the library lot across the street.
