Biggest Wins of 2023

Happy New Year!
We hope that you've had a great start to 2024 and we're kicking it off by celebrating some of our Performx athlete's biggest wins over the last year. 🎉

"I did my first pull-up in 5 years after believing I would never be able to do one again" 💪

This is from a personal trainer who had serial shoulder dislocations and visited the whole range of health care professionals prior to finding us. With hobbies that put extreme stress on her shoulders she was told time again that her body was not capable of keeping up. She's kicking off 2024 with a major climbing trip scheduled to Mount Iga, back training BJJ, and just did her first pull-up in 5 years with stable shoulders.

"I haven't had a headache in months" 🤯

This is from an electrician who suffered from chronic migraines and would wake up early each morning to hot tub, hoping it would relax his neck and shoulders enough to get through the day. His doctor's solution to the migraines was offering to put him on an anti-depressant that had a side-effect of relieving headaches... He's starting off the year migraine and pill-free, back to his work and hobbies feeling stronger and more confident than he ever has in his neck, shoulders and back.

"I was elated when I realized I was using my can opener without thumb pain" 👍

This was from a Crossfit coach who came in after dealing with 3 years of thumb pain on both hands - she had been diagnosed with arthritis, prescribed pills, and told to 'just deal with it.' After  few sessions the finger pain was nearly gone and she is now beginning 2024 able to do all her Crossfit movements as well as all the countless life tasks requiring your thumbs without any pain or zingers.

"Two runs in ONE week and NO PAIN!" 🏃

This is from an avid and talented long-distance runner who had all but given up on running 3 years ago due to persistent ankle pain. He's kicking off 2024 with with a sub 7-minute pace and keeps on adding the miles... But the biggest win was realizing that running was something he didn't have to give up on and that he could compete at the same level again if that's what he wanted to pursue.

There were so many amazing wins we saw over 2023, but these were a few that stuck out. Since we opened our doors in July we've gotten the chance to connect with 111 new people. Getting to help a handful of them understand how to take back control of their bodies and keep doing those things they love, has made the challenges of opening and starting this new business worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in 2023, we couldn't be more excited about what's in store for 2024!
